I built this rocket today in school, as part as work. I love building things from cardboard: rockets, tree houses, etc etc. I built the smaller one earlier at home-it was really fiddly! The little spaceman is attached to the bigger rocket, I called him Billy-I had to think of the randomness name possible!
I once entered a competition were you had to make something cool, useful, or decorative out of scrap materials. I made not a Flytrap, but a TRASHtrap! The cardboard one on the far left is Muncher, the one in the middle is Baby, and the one on the right is Credit-Crunch. These guys are the ones who inspired me to buy the Snappers.
To make them I used biscuit and sweet packets, credit cards (duh) loo-rolls, plastic cups an old word search, a soup can… all sorts! Sadly, I didn’t win the competition, but I still keep my Trashtrap as company. 🙂
Say hi to my, hmmm, “pancake”. If you can call it that, it looks more like a dinosaur. I LOVE Marmite on my pancakes! What’s the weirdest thing you’ve had on your pancakes? I’d love to here in the comments!
You’ve all heard me say it before. EPICAL. It’s a cool word, but what does it mean?! Well, when something it TOO good for words, and you can’t call it “awesome”, “really really cool”, or even “Incredible!!”, you have to use Epical. I made it up myself when I once heard someone say, “That’s epic! That’s cool!!” and it clicked. EPIC+COOL=EPICAL!!
Feel free to us it, but make sure you don’t say it’s your own word. Soon, the WORLD will be saying it……….. 😀
Here is a origional rocket that I made, and ill be telling YOU how to make one to! Have fun!
All you need: small pen, button (two holes), hair grip, spring (this should be wide enough so it dosn’t slide inside your pen.)
1)First of, take apart you small pen so you only have the pointy end and tube.
2)Secondly, slide your button (which should have TWO holes!) into your hair grip.
3)Next, slide your spring through the bumpy side of the hair pin. this will stop it flying out later.
4)Lastly, slide your hollow pen onto both sides of the hair grip. Hold your button on the bottom, push down your pen….WHOOSH!! Theres your rocket-have fun!
