“Wiggles is watching”-short Horror Story (by me)

Last post I mentioned about leaving a hidden note for someone to find in my house. Something creepy, of course. So I wrote on a teeny letter a short horror story. I had to shorten so much I re-wrote it to make it better to post…what would you do if you found it? 🙂

Dear reader,

If you are reading this you must have brought this house. Or you’re a robber. Either way, drop everything, and continue to read this-if you care for your family and friend’s life.

When I first moved to the house you’re in now, I made a massive fuss about it. So to shut me up, my parents bribed me with a pet. But I unlike other children my age offered a pet; I didn’t go for a fish, dog, cat or hamster…but a green and brown snake.

My parents would have said “no” if he wasn’t so small (and cheap). So that day I walked back to my new house with a big glass box, with a small timid snake curled up inside. I had never been happier!

I called my snake Wiggles, because with me he was quite playful, but not to anyone else. He didn’t like any of my family-no matter how much they bribed him with dead (sometimes live!) mice he wouldn’t come out of his plastic bushes he hid in sometimes.

However, all animals grow over time, and Wiggles was no exception. By the end of the year he was over a metre long…and continued to grow.

At that time I had trusted to let Wiggles to have a slither around my room instead of being confined to his box. (There weren’t many his size now!) But Wiggles had always been an escape artist, always up for a snack, and bad tempered, so he couldn’t stop himself when he saw a member of my family. Wiggles was that big, he tried to swallow them alive.

After plenty of attempts, my parents said I had to get rid of Wiggles some way, or they would; in their own way. I was outraged!! Wiggles was my Best Friend-I couldn’t get rid of him! But I didn’t. I hid him.

I took a while (I hid Wiggles in lots of different places during that time) but starting behind my wardrobe, I made some tunnels inside the walls big enough for Wiggles to live in. I don’t think I saw him again after that, but I still knew he was there.

I could hear him.

Rustling, sometimes hissing, pressing his tail against the floorboards making them creak…I knew he was there. I still left plenty of food out for him to show I still cared for him, and our secret friendship stayed that way for years.

Until my parents decided to move house again.

For me it was a disaster-I had to leave Wiggles, and I couldn’t even express my sadness to anyone in case I got in trouble. But there was no stopping my parents, after years of friendship I had to leave him.

So, reader, in your new house, if you hear any odd noises at night, or in the day, doesn’t be scared. It’s only Wiggles. And he may be metres and metres and metres long now, and very, very hungry, but just try to stay out of his way, and you should be safe.

Oh, and to be on the safe side, feed him.

He prefers his meals alive.

Don’t forget to feed IT….

I’m moving house next week and I’m thinking of leaving a note somewhere, like taped inside my fireplace. But it’s not going to be “[my name] was here in 2014“, I’m think more along the lines like, “Don’t forget to feed the Python-or else!” or, “Keep the cellar locked otherwise it will escape.“. They’re much more exciting! 😀

Ever have those days when you wake up late, get up late, eat late and just laze around and do nothing all day and the days just flies by and then it gets late and you realise you’ve wasted your day doing…nothing? Sadly, that to me, is everyday. Well, not everyday, but lots of days. Like today.

What have I done today? Not much. I haven’t wasted my day though, I think….. I have a week (roughly) here at home until me and my family go camping. And because I’m moving house, and schools, I get a extra week more then my friends of holiday because my new school ended school a week later. 😀 It may be mean…but it’ll be kind of fun to rub it in their faces! No-no, I’m not that mean…. 🙂

It may be a short post today, but I’ll leave you with a Superdoodle I did earlier. I love drawing these, when I’m bored I draw them, and sometimes I get so carried away they get really big with all sorts of random stuff in them.

Thanks for listening-and bye! 🙂

One last day.

As soon as I had got home from school today I had been VERY busy making cards. This is one of them, for one of my parents friends. Luckily-they like dragons! Which is good because apart from cartoony people they are the only thing I can draw successfully.

As I’ve already said, I’m moving house. A very very very long way away from where I am now. So I have to say bye to all my best and closest friends. And I know I will make new friends, but I’ll set this straight and say it.

Any friends I make down there will never be as good as the ones I have now. These friends are irreplaceable. And leaving them will be the hardest thing I’ll ever do.

March on mooses!

Wow-two more days left of school! I cant believe it. And because Thursday will be my last day, I’ve decided I’m going to be remembered in this school. My name is already on a reward plaque that I won, and I know there are plenty of students (and maybe teachers) that will never forget me, but now I have another idea.

Take a look at this moose/reindeer hat I got a few Christmases ago….

DSC_0109If I wear this in the Summer term, it’s sure to get me noticed. So on the last day-that’s what I’m going to wear!!

I’m not sure if its non-uniform or not, but does it matter?? And I wont wear it during class, so no one can tell me of, it’s not like I’m breaking any rules or anything. But I’m not doing this to all rebellious or annoying anything like that. I’m doing it because for all those people that don’t know me, I wont be totally forgotten. For example:

Person 1: Hey you remember that girl who left here in the summer?

Person 2: No.

Person 1: She was the weirdo that wore the moose hat.

Person 2: Oh yeah. She was odd.

They’ll remember as me being odd. Weird. And I am! Who cares what bad things people might say about me, I want to make the most of my time I have left here, and that’s what I’m going to do! 😀

Thanks for listening. 🙂

Billions of boxes!

So I had to tidy my desk and put all the junk in a box to make it look “neat”, when I found, squashed behind another box (with more junk in it!), a wallet. I recognised this wallet. The wallet I thought I had stupidly left in a shop, or had been pick-pocketed from me. The wallet I had lost, and I could never find.

The wallet that had 20 pounds in it.

Shaking with excitement, I opened the wallet-to find two 5 pound notes and a 10 pound note!! 😀

But as I tidied up my desk, taking out all the clutter, I finally realised how much JUNK I have on it! Seriously, have a look….

A bit worrying, right? Shocked how I could even work in that mess! Because we’re moving house in the summer ( 😦 ) of course we need to pack everything up in hundreds, and hundreds, and hundreds (okay not that many!) of cardboard boxes. I probably need to through some stuff out otherwise we’re going to be broke just buying boxes, and I don’t want to use that 20 pounds I just found!

Do you work in a mess as worse as mine? If so-poor you! 🙂

The Pack!

So I missed a post yesterday. And the one before that wasn’t up-to-scratch either. But I’ve been busy, practically all of yesterday was in school or in the car for 5 hours. BRILLIANT. But as me and my family are moving house in the Summer Holiday very near here (I reeeeeeeeeaaly don’t want to!!!!!!) we need to look at our new schools. Hip-hip-horray. 😦

Anyway, here I am, exhausted after just coming back from Gymnastics class (this is Freestyle gymnastics-with trampolines, foam pits and networks of deadly metal poles, all really fun! But as it was my first time, I did badly. Well, I’m very very sure I did. But I’m not going to be a pro on my first go am I??) relaxing on the comfy chair. And I’m starving. *rumble rumble*

There are two other dogs here where we’re staying, Dittio and Rosie. Ditto is a big, black Labrador and Rosie is a Jack Russell. you’d think Nathan would be thrilled to have another Jack Russell around to play with, but its always: “I’m pack leader! Me me me!!” as the pictures show.

“I’m Alpha wolf-lie down CUB!” They’re only playing. 🙂

Ditto wants to join in!

Ditto, chilling in the sun.

Nathan, about to pounce.

This first photo of Rosie failed as she tried to sniff the camera….

Here’s a better one!

And one more….

Look out for dragons! 😀
