Snake-NOT a worm!

Hello…remember me? I don’t want to count how many days it’s been since my last post but I have my reasons! Like me and my family have moved into our new house five nights ago. We didn’t have T.V or hot water for a day or two, and still don’t have WiFi. I’m at a friend’s house now, leaching off their internet.

Anyway-the new house. We still haven’t settled properly because we have no proper furniture yet (except for beds). We don’t even have chairs!! We’ve had to use fold-up camping chairs and a camping table for replacements. We’re camping in our own home. Hmp. 😦

My room still isn’t very decorated yet but I have big plans for it! It’s in a weird L shape (suitable for my name….), so I’m going to have a high bed against one wall, a desk with a computer and a spinny chair, behind that an electric drum kit, then opposite my bed I’ll have a big green, cosy sofa, and by the door I’ll have my chest of draws and a massive bookcase. 🙂

We’ll also put shelves up on the walls as well so my Voo-Doos can go on display, I’ll have all my posters and drawings on the walls (even on the ceiling if I run out of room!) and the walls will be a light-ish blue with one dark blue wall with silver stars on it. I’m also hoping to buy a big teacher’s whiteboard to fix onto one wall so I can do plenty of drawings. 😀

And unlike my old room my windows have window-sills, and I’ve put my handmade rockets, dragons and Venus-flytraps on there. I also have a really nice view of the garden as well. It has three sheds, two at the front of the garden (one very dark and cobwebby, the other bright and a total WRECK!) and a big white one that looks like a tiny version of a house. The only problem is that its locked….

However, our garden is teeming with wildlife! There are no frogs like in my last house (I even did a post about them), but there are dragon-flies flying around and earlier I even saw a SNAKE!!

He (or she…whatever) was quite small and a sludgy greyish colour (so maybe he wasn’t a grass snake), and was found hiding under the compost bin. And NO-he wasn’t a worm, he was over twice as long as a worm and we saw his tong flick out lots. He also slithered, he didn’t wiggle away under a fence into next door’s garden. Lets hope he wasn’t poisonous! 😀

Show me the house!!

Hatchling Dragon. 🙂

I want to warn you-I might not get much posting done lately as tomorrow we move (AAAAAAHHHHHGGGGG) except we’re staying at someone else’s house for a few days, and they have WiFi so I’ll try to squeeze in a post.

And you know what’s driving me crazy? Me and my family are moving into a house we haven’t even seen yet. It’s crazy! For all we know it could be a tent in a garden! We have seen a few bad photos and the outside of the house, but those photos could have been taken years ago and the inside could be a dump. Well I hope not cause I’ll have to live there until I go to University. 😦

Well I’ll have to hope for the best, and as a note, this will be the last post until I move-eeeeekk! :O Really not very excited about it. Oh well. Lets get this over with and hope it won’t be too emotionally painful.

Thanks for reading- bye. 🙂

“Wiggles is watching”-short Horror Story (by me)

Last post I mentioned about leaving a hidden note for someone to find in my house. Something creepy, of course. So I wrote on a teeny letter a short horror story. I had to shorten so much I re-wrote it to make it better to post…what would you do if you found it? 🙂

Dear reader,

If you are reading this you must have brought this house. Or you’re a robber. Either way, drop everything, and continue to read this-if you care for your family and friend’s life.

When I first moved to the house you’re in now, I made a massive fuss about it. So to shut me up, my parents bribed me with a pet. But I unlike other children my age offered a pet; I didn’t go for a fish, dog, cat or hamster…but a green and brown snake.

My parents would have said “no” if he wasn’t so small (and cheap). So that day I walked back to my new house with a big glass box, with a small timid snake curled up inside. I had never been happier!

I called my snake Wiggles, because with me he was quite playful, but not to anyone else. He didn’t like any of my family-no matter how much they bribed him with dead (sometimes live!) mice he wouldn’t come out of his plastic bushes he hid in sometimes.

However, all animals grow over time, and Wiggles was no exception. By the end of the year he was over a metre long…and continued to grow.

At that time I had trusted to let Wiggles to have a slither around my room instead of being confined to his box. (There weren’t many his size now!) But Wiggles had always been an escape artist, always up for a snack, and bad tempered, so he couldn’t stop himself when he saw a member of my family. Wiggles was that big, he tried to swallow them alive.

After plenty of attempts, my parents said I had to get rid of Wiggles some way, or they would; in their own way. I was outraged!! Wiggles was my Best Friend-I couldn’t get rid of him! But I didn’t. I hid him.

I took a while (I hid Wiggles in lots of different places during that time) but starting behind my wardrobe, I made some tunnels inside the walls big enough for Wiggles to live in. I don’t think I saw him again after that, but I still knew he was there.

I could hear him.

Rustling, sometimes hissing, pressing his tail against the floorboards making them creak…I knew he was there. I still left plenty of food out for him to show I still cared for him, and our secret friendship stayed that way for years.

Until my parents decided to move house again.

For me it was a disaster-I had to leave Wiggles, and I couldn’t even express my sadness to anyone in case I got in trouble. But there was no stopping my parents, after years of friendship I had to leave him.

So, reader, in your new house, if you hear any odd noises at night, or in the day, doesn’t be scared. It’s only Wiggles. And he may be metres and metres and metres long now, and very, very hungry, but just try to stay out of his way, and you should be safe.

Oh, and to be on the safe side, feed him.

He prefers his meals alive.

Faithfully:

Don’t forget to feed IT….

creepy

I’m moving house next week and I’m thinking of leaving a note somewhere, like taped inside my fireplace. But it’s not going to be “[my name] was here in 2014“, I’m think more along the lines like, “Don’t forget to feed the Python-or else!” or, “Keep the cellar locked otherwise it will escape.“. They’re much more exciting! 😀

Beanie Baby army!

Hello my loyal followers! First of I want to say sorry for not posting for two days. Things came up (like two friends inviting me at late notice for a campout in their garden) and so I didn’t  have any WiFi.

Secondly, I want to say THANK YOU for sticking with me through these times. I haven’t been very consistent with my posting lately, and it’s not going to get any better. I will try to post, but as lots of you know, I can’t always.

So, I’m kind of lucky to be posting today as I’m spending the night in my sister’s flat and her WiFi is terrible! But it’s nice to not always be glued to the internet. Anyway-as my parents were shovelling through the attic for junk to keep or throw away for The Move, they found my sister’s toys she had as a little kid. FOUR HUGE BIN BAGS FULL OF THEM. It was crazy!! There were masses of birds, badgers, reptiles, dogs…and half of them were Beanie Babies.

When we put them in a pile it was higher then Nathan! Higher then a fully grown Jack Russell!! Me and my sister then spent a-g-e-s putting them into groups of either families, or pairs. We put them into a giant herd, and these are the proof….

A Beanie Baby army! 😀

I have returned….

I’m back! How are you? I was camping in Wales with my family and some of their friends in a really cool campsite with a massive lake in the middle, with a forest surrounding it. It was great fun exploring and Nathan really enjoyed herself to. 🙂

Oh and I am sorry for not doing many posts this summer. I’m going away so much camping or whatever, there’s either no WiFi or no time to blog. I’ll keep trying, but when I move it’ll take a while to set the internet up as well so there might not be many posts then as well. 😦

Anyway, I haven’t mentioned this before, but I have an obsession with notebooks. I love them, and all throughout when I was little I would buy loads of them and I would fill them with weird drawings, odd stories and disturbing diaries. I had hundreds (yeah-seriously, well maybe just a hundred) notebooks filled with them. And I would always be buying more. But with The Move coming up, I needed to throw away tons of my belongings/junk. Including my mountain of notebooks.

I could still save lots of them, but also lots had to go. But surprisingly is wasn’t much of a problem, as lots of the notebooks had when I was young was filled with rubbish anyway. But-of course-my mum had to save a few of them. The ones with the embarrassing stories I never finished writing, or the ones with crazy looking drawings in them!

There’s still a lot more preparing to do before the move, and even though I’ve done quite a bit in my room, there’s still more horrors waiting for me to be found….

Thank you for reading! 🙂

One last day.

As soon as I had got home from school today I had been VERY busy making cards. This is one of them, for one of my parents friends. Luckily-they like dragons! Which is good because apart from cartoony people they are the only thing I can draw successfully.

As I’ve already said, I’m moving house. A very very very long way away from where I am now. So I have to say bye to all my best and closest friends. And I know I will make new friends, but I’ll set this straight and say it.

Any friends I make down there will never be as good as the ones I have now. These friends are irreplaceable. And leaving them will be the hardest thing I’ll ever do.
